About The Concorde Group, LLC.

The Concorde Group, LLC was formed on the basis of providing the best possible engineered based tax services to our clients.  It is why we specialize only in cost segregation and Research and Development studies in the industry.

In order to meet this goal, we have brought together a highly experienced team consisting of professionals in accounting, tax, architecture, engineering, and construction. This leads to the most detailed and comprehensive engineering based tax solutions in the industry.

Not only do we provide our clients with the “expertise” for our tax solution practices, but the authority and strength to substantiate our positions if ever challenged by the IRS. It is one of the reasons The Concorde Group offers audit support as a no-cost additional service in all of our engagements.  If our work product is ever audited, we back it up at no cost to you.  As a result we have become one of the nation’s leading providers of cost segregation and R&D tax credit services. No matter where you are located, the professionals at The Concorde Group can work with you to maximize your current depreciation deductions through a cost segregation study, or provide year ending tax credits for your Research and Development activities.

The Concorde Group also assists independent accountants and other CPA firms in providing these tax solution services to their qualified clients, who have constructed, acquired, expanded, or remodeled real estate along with the firms developing, manufacturing, or improving new products or processes.

On behalf of our entire team, we thank you in advance for considering The Concorde Group as your provider for cost segregation and R&D Tax Credit studies. We are confident that you will join the many satisfied clients and alliance partners around the country. We are here to serve you.

Ed Lorenz
President and CEO

As a proven expert in Cost Segregation and the Federal Research and Development tax credit, Ed formed The Concorde Group in May 2009. With over 19 years of experience in these complex tax strategies, he is able to provide his clients with exceptional results, credibility, and service.

Prior to starting The Concorde Group, Ed served four years as the engineering expert at one of the nation’s largest professional CPA firms located in the mid-west.  As a staff member and then Associate, his time was divided equally among conducting cost segregation and Research and Development credit studies.  With the knowledge base of his fellow staff members clearly focused on the accounting aspect, it was critical that Ed was relied upon for his engineering expertise required to complete these studies.

In advance of his accounting and tax career, Ed spent approximately 15 years in the Construction and Demolition industry.  His extreme attention to detail allowed him to focus primarily on large scale manufacturing projects for the auto industry, and municipal waste water and sewage treatment facilities where he served as Estimator and Project Manager.

This broad spectrum of experience and attention to detail translates into extreme measures that provide our client with an outstanding work product while following the strict guidelines mandated by the IRS.
